The 'Craft Workshop'
is a showcase for our family, containing work by Cathy, Pat & Liz
Myhill. It features many unique and intriguing ranges of gifts, presents and
keepsakes.
Our work is
born of the inspiration brought by the great legacy of Celtic Art, the
influences of Art Nouveau, and the awesome environment, heritage and
landscape of the Isle of Skye and the Western Isles.
We specialise in high quality woodcraft
clocks, boxes and plaques, all unsually and evocatively decorated with a
mixture of pyrography and painting: every design is original and unique to
that piece. Our own work also includes paintings,
drawings, prints, photography, cards, jewellery and decorated candles.

Over half of the work shown is produced by
us, with
much of the remainder being quality
handcrafted work produced locally on Skye. A small proportion is
carefully selected from the work of other Scottish or Celtic producers.
The shop range offers woodcrafts,
jewellery, cards, candles, photographs, painted and stained glassware,
ceramics, prints, fabric/woolcrafts and much, much more: there is something to suit every taste and every
pocket!!
The 'Craftshop' also features a small
collection of books relating to Skye and some
superb photographic albums published by Creative Monochrome.
